The 2012 COSMIC season opener is an all-backcountry course based out of the spectacular CS Irwin Lodge outside of Crested Butte. Due to the remote nature of this course (snowcat or snowmobile access only) registration will be capped - so get on it!

2013 US Ski Mountaineering National Championships
The 2013 US Ski Mountaineering National Championships will be held Saturday, January 5th at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. The event is one of three US National Team selections races for the February World Championships. (Grand Targhee on Jan. 6th and Sunlight Mt. on Jan. 12th are also selection events)
As always, racers can look forward to good snow and a full tour of the resort.
